What is a donation?
A donation refers to the action of a person to transfer voluntarily and without expecting direct compensation, property, money or rights to another person.
In this process, the donor relinquishes ownership of what is donated, and the recipient acquires ownership for free. Donations often have legal implications, such as documentation requirements and possible taxes, depending on local laws and the circumstances of the donation.
